If you are like me, you appreciate a crisp user interface and streamlined graphics. But what about your fiction reading? If you are looking for some quick and entertaining reading, you can’t beat “flash fiction.”
It is a relatively new genre and many people are just starting to hear about it. Think of short stories - but even shorter. Most are only 2 to 4 pages, from start to finish. And even though they are short, they can be surprisingly well developed and descriptive. Just like clean graphic design, flash fiction is concise with the story being front and center. It can pack quite a punch with just a few words. A great place to start is Lilac Sunday and Gypsy Bay from Applehead Press.
